BSD Prepares for Flu:
PandemicFlu.jpg Several times a week, the national media makes reference to avian flu and the potential for a pandemic.  Those of us in the Bellevue School District realize we have an important responsibility to communicate timely and helpful information to our community and to work closely with both the King County Health Department and the City of Bellevue to prepare for the possibility of the flu striking our community.  As we have already learned, our response will depend very heavily on the expertise of the Health Department and we are thankful for the guidance and assistance they have already offered us.

We have posted information on our website to serve as a resource for students, parents and staff.  The site will be updated as new information is released.  Please note that a feedback form has been placed in the left hand column for you to send us input or ask questions.

On November 18, Bellevue High hosted an Alumni Career Day during the day and a college information program for students with learning disabilities and their parents at night. All of the school's special education students were invited, and LaRosa was delighted to see a turnout of 75 to 100 students and family members.
