Black Student Union (BSU) Club – Sammamish High School

BSU Club meets on Monday 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Room 315.

Black Student Union (BSU) is a club that accepts everyone of all races, and is simply a safe place to discuss topics such as one’s identity, police brutality, loving the skin you’re in, and many more. In addition to that, we have days where we just talk about school or just listen to each other’s problems. Our hope is to promote equity and unity for all people here at SHS, and for our school to come together and promote change. We also hope to see some new faces.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
