Second Reading of Proposed Changes to Policies 2336, 3246, 3247 and 4260

It is proposed that Policies 3246 and 3247 be merged into one policy, Policy 3246 – Restraint, Isolation and Other Uses of Reasonable Force. Additionally, there are proposed changes to Policy 2336 – State/Federal-Required Observances and Policy 4260 – Use of School Facilities. Significant changes to policies require Board approval. The second reading by the Board will take place at the January 5, 2016 meeting. Policies normally go through a public reading and comment process before they are adopted or revised.
