Congratulations to Somerset students Andrew Gu and Daniel Jung who won medals at the 2016 Northwest Council of the Chopin Foundation piano competition. Gu, a third grade student won a Division A Gold Medal, and Jung, a fourth grade student won a Division B Gold Medal.
There were 166 participants in the competition. Gu and Jung, along with other winners will be performing at the University of Washington’s Brechemin auditorium on Jan. 31.
