Congratulations to Interlake senior Tanya Stockdale-Morineau on winning a Tesoro Youth Leadership Award through the National Society of High School Scholars Foundation and Tesoro Corporation!
Stockdale-Morineau was one of 20 winners from over 1,200 applicants honored for leading by example in their schools and communities and will receive a $2,500 scholarship for college-related expenses.
Stockdale-Morineau was selected for her role as an officer in Club ELITES (Estudiantes Latinos Trabajando por una Educacion Superior), a club that supports the learning experience of Latino students in high school.
