The Washington Post has released its list of America’s Most Challenging High Schools for 2016, ranking all of Bellevue’s comprehensive high schools in the top 15 percent.

The Post ranks schools using a ration of the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced International Certificate of Education exams taken at a school to the number of graduating seniors.

Rankings for Bellevue’s comprehensive high schools were as follows:

  • Interlake #65
  • Newport #118
  • Bellevue #185
  • Sammamish #348

International School, a choice school, was ranked 60th.
