Bennett Elementary School

The rebuilt Bennett Elementary will be 85,000 square feet spread over three stories to take advantage of the site topography. Structural steel has been erected and the multi-purpose room slab is being poured in the left portion of the photo. The top center of the photo shows work progressing up the hill, which will house a number of classrooms. The project is on schedule for opening in fall 2017.

Tillicum Middle School

When completed Tillicum Middle School will consist of 185,000 square feet spread over three stories to take advantage of the site topography. A storm water detention vault has been constructed and is currently being used to contain storm water generated on the site before being released to the city storm water system. This can be seen in the right hand edge of the photo. The slabs and retaining walls in the center of the photo are for the three-story classroom wing and the gymnasium. The music room, commons and administrative areas will be to the left of the retaining wall.

Interlake High School Transition Center Addition/Renovation

Interlake Construction Site

The Interlake High School Transition Center project is a 8,300 square foot addition consisting of four classrooms, Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Language Pathologist spaces, restroom facilities, a focal point entry for this new addition, and a remodel of the entry for the existing transition building. This project will incorporate ground source geo-thermal wells for heating and cooling the entire complex. The addition is scheduled for completion in August 2017 at which time the students and staff will move into this new space while their current building is renovated. The entire project is scheduled for completion in December 2017.

Sammamish High School

Sammamish Construction Site

This is the final year of a four-year project for Sammamish High School. The gymnasium/locker room complex is under construction. The new dining commons is to the right of the gym and opened for students last fall. The glass studio will be constructed in the foreground of this photo. The gymnasium is scheduled to be completed and turned over to the school in March, at which time the glass studio will be constructed and the old gymnasium and remaining classrooms will be demolished. Additional parking lots will be paved.
