Congratulations to Bellevue School District’s Eliana Coe (Interlake), Justin Li (Interlake), Tom Bentson (International), Mia Mooko (Bellevue High), and Mathew Lewis (Bellevue High) for being selected for The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Project!

The students, along with peers from other districts, produced and performed The Pajama Game. The production was entirely student run, from casting and marketing to the technical crew and performers. Performances took place March 17 and 18 at The 5th Avenue Theatre in downtown Seattle.

The Rising Star Project is a tuition-free program made possible by a grant from The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation and students were trained and mentored by theater professionals at The 5th Avenue Theatre. Learn more about the Rising Star Project on their website.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
