Congratulations to Anushri Rao, an eighth grader at Tillicum Middle School, who won bronze in U-15 singles and gold in U-15 mixed doubles at the SBC Junior Open Tournament in January.
Prior to her gold and bronze medals in January, Rao won bronze for U-15 girls doubles at Super Regionals held in December 2016.
Rao practices 12-14 hours per week and has been playing badminton for the last three years.
