Congratulations to Angelina Lawton, a fourth grader at Cherry Crest, who won the Northwest Division of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Elementary Composition Competition, and was recognized as a National Finalist.
Lawton has been studying piano with a local composer and pianist since Kindergarten. Her winning composition is written for the piano and is titled “Tango.”
