Congratulations to the Bellevue High and Newport marching bands for winning first place awards at the Autumn Leaf Festival Parade in Leavenworth on Sept. 23.
The Bellevue High School Marching Band, directed by Edd George and Will Harvey, was awarded 1st Place in the 3A Division and the Newport High School Marching Band, directed by Cory Edwards and Todd Mahaffey, was awarded 1st Place in the 4A Division.
More than a dozen high schools across different divisions participated in the annual grand parade celebrating the turning colors of the autumn leaves.
