Congratulations to Newport High School sophomore Shrey Aeron for being published in the September 2017 edition of the NANOWIRE newsletter, produced by RAIN (Remote Access Instruments for Nanotechnology) and affiliated with Penn State’s College of Engineering.

Last year Aeron was a student in Newport’s Nano Technology CTE class taught by Melissa Baker.  In his article, Aeron described his experience in Baker’s class, including controlling a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) remotely to inspect strands of hair to solve a ‘whodunnit’ case.
