Congratulations to Newport High School freshman Naomi Bashkansky for winning the North American Junior Girls U20 Chess Championship, held Aug. 31 – Sept.5 in Dallas, TX.  As the Junior Girls U20 Champion, she has earned the chess title of Woman International Master.
