Congratulations to Tillicum’s Choir Director Julia Meyering who has been invited to audition for the Metropolitan Opera Chorus for the 2019-20 season!
This past summer Meyering sang in the Seattle Opera Chorus for their production of Porgy and Bess. After the show closed, the cast was invited to submit an audition recording and resume for an opportunity to audition in person at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City for their production of Porgy and Bess and a possible general chorus position for their 2019-20 season! At the end of November, Meyering was notified of her invitation to audition, which will take place on Feb. 1.
