H.E.ART Gallery Bellevue is a non-profit organization founded by students at the Bellevue Big Picture school. H.E.ART, or High-schoolers Expressing ART, works to collect student-made art across the Bellevue School District. With the support of the Bellevue Schools Foundation, H.E.ART is able to raise funds for art programs within our district. Since H.E.ART’s founding, it has been passed down as a recurring project to three entrepreneurial juniors: Jacob Coffler, Kyla Kowalchuk, and Cindy Fu.

H.E.ART will be exhibiting student artwork at Crossroads Mall throughout the entire month of May. Sales from this pop-up art gallery will be going directly back to art programs in the Bellevue School District. Be sure to drop by and purchase some artwork to support Bellevue schools!

If your high school student is interested in submitting a piece to H.E.ART – encourage them to create a work of art that embodies the theme of a journey. Take a photo of the artwork and email it to [email protected]. Be sure to also include your full name, title of piece, grade and school, artist statement, and the size of the artwork. The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
