Dear Bellevue Learning Community,
Thank you for all your patience, kindness, and collaboration during this unprecedented time for our district. With all the help that our families, our educators, our staff, and our community partners are providing, I know our students will have what they need to stay safe and healthy, and to continue learning while our schools remain closed.
By the start of next week, you or your students should have heard from our educators about what learning experiences students should be working on during the week. Starting on March 23, every student will have access to daily learning experiences.
If you need more information on nutrition services, technology support, or childcare, please consult our COVID-19 (coronavirus) website. We will update the website regularly to include helpful information, including how to access learning resources, who to contact to get the help you need, and how to access student services. We will also add a feature so you can submit questions, comments, or feedback to us about how things are going or how we can better serve you.
Next week, I will host an online chat where you can ask me questions directly. Once the details are set, I will send you the day, time, and information to join us. I look forward to hearing from you and collaborating to improve our supports for students.
As a district, we know that these weeks ahead will require some grace from you as we navigate learning outside our classrooms. If you need help during this time, please access the resources that we and our community partners are working to provide. Our school buildings may be closed, but together we will continue to work towards our vision, to affirm and inspire each and every student to learn and thrive as creators of their future world.
