January is School Board Recognition Month! We are grateful for our board of directors and their dedication to our community! School board of directors volunteer their time to serve our community and are elected by voters to lead and oversee the vision of the Bellevue School District. Governor Jay Inslee issued a proclamation to mark the occasion.
Bellevue’s board of directors is made up of five community members who represent geographical districts and they include former students in the Bellevue School District and parents of current and former students. They are lawyers, doctors, educators and volunteers and bring together a collection of diverse and unique experiences and backgrounds. Thank you to our board members for their service!
