Over the weekend of September 25, both the Newport High School and Bellevue High School marching bands traveled to Leavenworth to perform in the Leavenworth Autumn Leaf Festival Parade. Students from both schools did an amazing job and really enjoyed the opportunity to take a field trip and perform.

To top off a great day, Newport was honored as the First Place 4A Band and Bellevue was honored as the First Place 3A Band! The Newport Band is directed by Cory Edwards and Todd Mahaffey, and the Bellevue Band is directed by Edd George and Will Harvey.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
