Bellevue School District is pleased to announce our Annual Proportionate Share Consultation meetings. Each year, our special education team meets with representatives from private schools located in Bellevue to discuss how “Proportionate Share” funding will be spent the following school year.

What is Proportionate Share Funding?

This funding is allocated by the federal government and is used to support special education services for qualifying students who are unilaterally placed by their parent/guardian in a non-profit private school located in Bellevue. Families who have placed their students in private schools and would like to learn more about this funding and services are welcome to attend. Information will be presented, with time for questions and answers at the end.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
