Please join us in celebrating our school lunch heroes on Friday, May 6, during School Lunch Hero Day. School nutrition employees must balance many roles and follow numerous federal, state and local regulations to ensure safe and healthy meals are available in schools.

Thank You, BSD School Lunch Heroes

We are so thankful for our dedicated staff for their efforts in ensuring that children in our community continued to have access to free meals during the pandemic. Did you know that these efforts resulted in over 800,000 grab and go meals going to our families? We additionally want to thank our BSD Nutrition Services staff for their extra efforts this year as they continue to offer free meals for students. These efforts have seen between 2,500 to 3,000 more lunches being served per day in our schools when compared to 2019-20. You are our heroes!
