The Bellevue School District is in the transition phase of the Superintendent Search, led by the School Board Directors with assistance from Human Capital Enterprises (HCE), the search firm hired to direct our executive search efforts.

On Thursday, January 26, the Bellevue School District Board of Directors announced that Dr. Kelly Aramaki has been selected as the new superintendent of Bellevue School District. Although Dr. Aramaki’s official start date is July 1, 2023, HCE will advise the board on transition activities which may include onboarding days in Bellevue prior to the start date. The Board’s vision is to build a transition period for deliberate succession planning between the interim superintendent and incoming superintendent rarely seen, including community and district “meet and greet” opportunities, to support BSD in the best possible way.
