Principal Message:
Happy Friday Ardmore Families,

We completed our first full week of school.   While we continue to observe students excited to be at school, they do share they are feeling exhausted. It’s no surprise! This is the first time in over 18 months they spend a full week back in school, full time. They continue to build their stamina and adjust to wearing masks all day. They are being amazing, and I am so proud to see how understanding they have been about health and safety protocols. I know they will continue to build their energy as the year goes along! Thank you families for continuing to establish routines at home that support your children to be ready and full of energy for school 😊

Curriculum Night Videos

Thank you to all the families that joined us for virtual curriculum night! It was great to see a high attendance. If you were not able to make it, you are welcomed to watch the Principal presentation by going to the link below.   Classroom teachers also recorded their presentations and can share the video links with you, if you would like to watch. Please reach out directly to them for the links. Last, our support staff and specialists recorded a video to share more about their role and specialists’ classes (Art, Computer Science, PE, Music) at Ardmore. If you can, take a moment to watch!

Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15 initiated HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH and goes through October 15!

This month celebrates the contributions of our Latin and Hispanic community in the USA. As a Latina, myself, it is an honor to see our nation celebrate Latin and Hispanic contributions. While we will always recognize the contributions of our Latin and Hispanic community, this month also provides us an opportunity to celebrate our Latin and Hispanics families and students that are part of our Ardmore community.   Our Latin/Hispanic student population make up approximately 20% of our students. I’m excited to see our students grow at Ardmore and hear about their future dreams. I look forward to partnering with our Ardmore community to support our Latin/Hispanic students towards reaching their goals. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us!
