| Dear Ardmore Community,
There are few events coming up that we want to ensure you are aware of and mark on your calendars. This year, we plan to integrate and re-open more opportunities for families to participate in school wide events. Last weekend, our wonderful PTSA hosted a Bingo night and it was a great success! So many families and students came and enjoyed a lovely evening of fun and games. We look forward to more fun-filled times together all year long!

| Curriculum Night will be October 10, 2022 from 5:30-6:30 pm at Ardmore Elementary | |||
| Families please mark your calendars! We can’t wait to share more about our academic and social emotional learning curriculums plus more. We are excited about this year and all the plans we have to see students grow!
Starting at 5 pm, we will be hosting a pizza social. Feel free to stop by earlier in the evening to network and eat with us! | Bellevue School District Board of Directors Visit to Ardmore. October 11 at 8 am | |||
| Families, you are invited to join us for a parent/community listening session with our BSD board of directors. They will host an open forum from 8:00-8:30 am at our Ardmore Library. Families we would really love for you to stop by if you can to share your experiences with our community at Ardmore and Bellevue School District. This is a great opportunity to learn more about district initiatives and educational vision for our students. We hope you can make time to join us. Families are welcomed to park in our small lot in front of school if available or lower parking lot during the session. | |||

| Unity Day on October 19 | |||
| This is a day dedicated to showing unity and standing against bullying across our nation. At Ardmore, we have a zero tolerance for bullying and teacher our students to demonstrate kindness and ways to get along. In support of this movement, everyone is encouraged to wear orange in solidarity. Your child will learn more as we talk about kindness. You can help by having your child wear orange too! | |||
| School Pictures October 25 | |||
| Make sure to review children’s bags for information on school pictures. All students present will have their picture taken. We will share a make up date at a later time. | |||
Advance Learning Winter Testing October 31 deadline |

| Applications for Advanced Learning winter testingare now open. Any parent/guardian of a BSD student in grades 1-11 may apply for their student to test.Any parent of a private/home-school student in grades 1-11 who lives within the Bellevue School District service area may also apply for their child to test. Applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on October 31, 2022.
All BSD Kindergarten students are automatically screened for Advanced Learning services. There is no need for this group to apply for testing.
