The conversation will cover events that helped to shape and transform Seattle and the surrounding areas. Larry Gossett and select guests will engage in dialogue that highlights the ongoing journey toward racial and social justice for Black people both then and now.

Preparing to Launch Into Adulthood: Family-Focused Information Session about IEP Transition Plans

Please join the BSD Special Education Department and the Bellevue Special Needs PTA for a family-focused info session about Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Transition Plans, which are legally required to be in a student’s IEP the year they turn 16. This session will help learn more about the power of a solid Transition Plan to support their student’s future.

Join this event in person or online, that will feature a keynote speaker and offer a variety of several sessions where students and families can learn about the admissions process, financial aid, college entrance exams, college essays, finding your fit, and exploring post-secondary opportunities through military options, sports recruiting, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Kelly Aramaki, Superintendent of the Bellevue School District @6:00 pm.
