STAGE 6: IN-PERSON LEARNING

IN-PERSON LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES:

  • K-12: 5 days a week
  • All athletics, music, drama, extracurriculars
  • Extra-curricular activities that follow safe start protocols and risk mitigations.

REMOTE LEARNING:

  • Students who have chosen Virtual Learning through the end of the 2020-21 school year.

STUDENT & STAFF SAFETY: District staff and students will follow health and safety protocols including consistent and correct use of face coverings, social distancing, hand washing and sanitizing and cleaning and disinfecting. District staff will engage in contact tracing.

PUBLIC HEALTH CONDITIONS: Using the Department of Health reporting, there will be less than 50 COVID-19 positive cases per 100,000 people in King County over a 14-day period. Test positivity less than 5%. If cases rise, it is possible to move back to stage 5.

SCHOOL READINESS: Buildings are prepared with the supplies to welcome students safely and staff are trained and ready to implement health and safety protocols. Families have the latest and accurate information including contact information for questions and visitor policies.
