Sammamish Named a Washington State Finalist in Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow Contest

Congratulations to Sammamish’s Principles of Engineering class, led by Teacher Kim Herzog, which was selected as one of five state finalists in Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow Contest – a nationwide competition that challenges students in grades 6-12 to apply STEM skills to find creative solutions to real-world issues impacting their local communities.  These students exemplify our new vision: to affirm and inspire each and every student to learn and thrive as creators of their future world. National Board Certification Earned by BSD Educators

Congratulations to the 31 Bellevue teachers who recently achieved National Board certification and the 43 Bellevue teachers who achieved National Board renewal this year!  Bellevue School District employs more than 400 National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs).  According to the National Board, Bellevue currently ranks 19th out of all public school districts nationwide in terms of the number of NBCTs who have earned the distinction.
