National Principals Month Feature: Simone Neal
The lunchroom at Wilburton was filled with screams from students as soon as Simone Neal, the assistant principal, mentioned “DJ Dance Party”. It’s when Neal becomes the DJ for an entire lunch hour – “the kids love it, but I’m pretty exhausted by the end!” she laughed. Introducing Wilburton Elementary
We are pleased to announce that the district’s newest elementary school, most recently referred to as Elementary 18, was officially named at the July 18 school board meeting. Wilburton Elementary, named after the Bellevue community it resides in, is currently under construction and will open fall 2018.
