Fourth and Fifth Grade Learning Dates

Schedule Details for Fourth Grade hybrid classes at Cherry Crest:  Chariton, Gilbert, Pederson

  • 3/29 & 3/30 – Classroom preparation Days (teachers provide asynchronous learning for students)
  • 3/31 – regularly scheduled virtual instruction
  • 4/1 & 4/2 – 4th grade students attend in person on ½ day AM/PM schedule
  • Week of 4/5 – 4th grade students attend in person 4 days/week (M,T,Th,F).  Wednesdays remain virtual for the rest of the school year

Schedule Details for Fifth Grade hybrid classes at Cherry Crest: Regala (4 & 5), Tamayo, Atia, Hemker

  • 3/30 & 4/1 (T & Th) – Classroom preparation Days (teachers provide asynchronous learning for students)
  • 3/31 – regularly scheduled virtual instruction
  • 4/2 – final day of virtual instruction with entire class
  • 4/5 – 5th grade students begin attending in person on ½ day AM/PM schedule 4 days/week  (M,T,Th,F). Wednesdays remain virtual for the rest of the school year.

April 12 – 16      Spring Break – no classes
April 19 – 23      Virtual Instruction Week for all students (supporting quarantine period after family travel)
April 26               Resumption of In Person Learning in AM/PM sessions for all students K – 5

Third Grade Learning Dates

  • 3/22 & 3/23 – Classroom preparation Days (teachers provide asynchronous learning for students)
  • 3/24 – regularly scheduled virtual instruction
  • 3/25 & 3/26  – 3rd grade students attend in person on ½ day AM/PM schedule
  • Week of 3/29 – 3rd grade students attend in person 4 days/week (M,T,Th,F).  Wednesdays remain virtual for the rest of the school year

Kindergarten and 1st grade Learning Dates in March 

  • 1st grade hybrid students and K/1 hybrid students (Applegate, Hayfield and Depaola)
    • 3/1 & 3/2 (Mon/Tues): In person learning
      • AM in person session 8:00 – 10:30 AM
      • PM in person session 12:00 – 2:30 PM
      • Depaola’s first grade students attend in person in AM session and kindergarten students attend in person for PM session
    • 3/3 – 3/5 (Wed – Fri) remote live instruction (what we’ve been doing all year)
  • Kindergarten hybrid students (Cody, Lawlor, Picciotto)
    • 3/1 & 3/2 (Mon/Tues): Remote Asynchronous learning
      • K teachers are completing in person classroom preparations and will provide remote asynchronous learning for students (no live instruction)
    • 3/3 (Wed) Remote live instruction in AM
    • 3/4 & 3/5 (Thurs/Fri): In person learning
      • AM in person session 8:00 – 10:30 AM
      • PM in person session 12:00 – 2:30 PM
  • Week of March 8th
    • Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade hybrid classes will have live in person learning in AM/PM sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with remote learning on Wednesday and Friday.
  • Week of March 15th and beyond*
    • Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade hybrid classes will have live in person learning in AM/PM sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with remote learning on Wednesday
      *At some point we will transition out of AM/PM model into full day sessions.  This date has not yet been determined.
