Meals 2 Go – Menu Link 

The Meals2Go program, offered by our Nutrition Services team, is designed to provide a FREE breakfast and lunch option for families to access for their children. A child may receive up to 1 breakfast and 1 lunch per day.  Meals can be picked up a the ‘snack’ window in the Commons prior to departing the building each day.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week celebrates teachers and school staff and the contributions they make to education and society. Let your teachers and school staff know you appreciate their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm.

6th Grade Orkila-at-Chinook Science Camp Program – Teams meetings May 4 and May 11.

Orkila at Chinook will take place during the school day over the next few weeks, using a mixture of virtual Teams calls facilitated by YMCA Camp Orkila staff with Chinook staff support, and live (hybrid students) or online (virtual students) follow-up activities led by Chinook staff.  We hope that students will enjoy this opportunity to explore a little bit of Camp Orkila from Bellevue.  All 6th graders will receive a Teams meeting invite from Chinook Camp ( for Tuesday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 11 for ONE of the following times: 12:15-1:15 (Virtual/House B students only), 1:30-2:30, or 2:45-3:45.   

Chinook Soccer – Chinook with be offering Coed Soccer after school on Wednesdays.  This is recreation level soccer that is open to all Chinook students.  Activity Buses are available after practice.  Please sign up on FinalForms by 4/30. Questions? email Alleigha Bizik at

All School Chinook Spirit Day – Wednesday 5/5

Now’s the time to have some fun and show your school spirit, every Wednesday courtesy of ASB!  Dress-up for your in-person or virtual classes and show your Kodiak pride! 

This week’s theme: School Spirit – wear blue and gold.   

Sock Drive at Chinook – May 3-14 

Please donate new socks to Chinook for our 2020/2021 annual NJHS Sock Drive. There are bins at each entrance for 6th, 7th and 8th grade donations. Socks are a number one necessity for people experiencing homelessness. We donate the socks to homeless shelters in the area. This is a class competition. The winning class receives an organized fun Teams celebration this year. We look forward to seeing your sock donations!

Homework Club – provided by Bellevue High SEA

Want help with your homework?  Bellevue High School SEA Club (Student Education Association) is here to help!  Bellevue High students will be available for homework help, middle school advice, and everything in between.  Drop in any time on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am until noon.  There are even language break-out rooms for more help!  We hope to see you all there!  Homework Club meets weekly at SEA Club Teams

Kodiak News is a monthly student-produced show for Chinook Middle School.  It is a collaboration effort primarily produced by our Film/Video Club members and also includes contributions from our Video Production, Media Technology and Python Coding Classes.  Ms. Cosacchi is the advisor.   Link to New Episode 

‘Belonging’ – Call for Art Submissions 

Looking for something to do over Spring Break? We are looking for art that represents the theme of ‘Belonging’. We ALL belong at Chinook and we want to decorate the hallways with art that welcomes all. This is your chance to show off your talents, welcome others and leave a lasting mark at Chinook.

  • Submissions due by June 1st.
  • Accepted submissions will be enlarged to poster size, framed and hung in the Chinook hallways permanently!
