Shine On Chinook

Our Shine on Chinook fundraiser has officially ended! A huge THANK YOU to our families who helped us reach 95% of our goal!!!! We are so grateful to all the families that participated in our fundraiser and appreciate all the donations that came in to support our school and our kids. We will have updates and more information in the Kodiak Korner and on the PTSA website. Thank you!!

Outstanding Fees/Fines

Please take a quick look at your student’s account Student Account to check for outstanding fees or fines. Fees/Fines pop-up when once you log in.

Many students have fees related to the music program, past ASB membership dues, Black and Orange Social, and library fines.  Library fines disappear once the book is turned in.  Note: Students who belong to and after school club must pay the 23-24 ASB fee.  The office had assigned a fee for students who have been attending a club but have not paid the fee yet.

Library books

Books not returned within 3 weeks of check-out date (2-week loan period plus 1 week buffer) will show up as LOST in Destiny Discover. Students can check which books they have checked out by visiting DestinyDiscover and logging in with their BSD user id and password. BSD does not charge fees for books returned late.

Books that have been lost or damaged beyond repair (water damage for example) may be replaced with a new copy of the same title, or the LOST Book fine may be paid online.

In Case You Missed It

School Funding 101 – Understanding Our Money Sources

Learn more about the district’s sources of money and how we can spend them. In school districts, we have multiple buckets of funds where our money is accounted for — General Fund, Capital and Technology Fund and Building Fund. Each of these funds has designated uses and we as a district are limited in how we can transfer money between these funds based on state law.

Learn more about BSD’s funding sources.

PTSA Membership and the Kodiak Korner

If you still haven’t joined our PTSA or signed up to receive our Kodiak Korner, please do so on our website. Getting the Kodiak Korner will keep you informed on the events and activities coming up for the kids!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
