On Aug. 6 Bellevue School District will launch Online Student Data Verification via ParentVUE.

On behalf of the Synergy Online Student Verification Project Team, I’m excited to announce the new way for families to update student demographic forms and school nurse health information forms in Synergy. This is a natural extension of what families have already become accustomed to doing in the new software this year — such as accessing grades, attendance, teachers’ messages and other school-related information — to contribute to students’ academic success.

In addition to student demographic data, parents and guardians can update their contact information, as well as edit, update and add emergency contacts, and upload documents to submit to their student’s school(s).  Parents of students at multiple schools can complete and submit the verification of their student information at one time.

The verification process can be completed on any web enabled device, at any time via the district website (this process is currently not available via the ParentVUE app).  Kiosks will be available at all 29 schools, plus 3 kiosks at the BSD Student Placement office where parents and guardians can also verify this information.  Training guides with how-to instructions for families will be available online and at the BSD Kiosks at the time of launch.  Paper format will still be available for families who prefer that method.

By updating student’s data, we can communicate academic progress to the appropriate contacts, distribute important information as needed, contact families in emergency situations, and respond to a medical situation appropriately.  It’s important to ensure that all information is current, accurate and complete.

Communication will continue to be sent about this rollout in the coming months.  If you have any questions about the online student data verification process, please contact us at  [email protected] or visit  www.bsd405.org/onlinestudentdataverification.

We appreciate your support and enthusiasm as we continue to expand our use of Synergy.
