Eastgate Mission: By nurturing healthy relationships, we will create a safe and equitable community where we will prepare each and every student with the foundational social, emotional, and academic skills to be confident and thriving lifelong learners. 

Eastgate serves students from kindergarten through the fifth grade with an academically rigorous program.  Our talented teaching staff is committed to providing the support and individualized attention needed to ensure that all of our students achieve at high levels and are well prepared for middle school.  Although Eastgate’s students perform excellently on State and District standardized tests, our staff continually strives to make improvements and increase our students’ success.  Many members of the staff are National Board Certified and/or are working on advanced graduate studies.

Eastgate was completely rebuilt and opened the new facility during the 2009 – 2010 school year. Our classrooms include new technologies such as SmartBoards and classroom computer labs to enhance instruction and student learning.  The entire school community is thrilled with the new school building and is pleased that treasured elements from the original school were restored in the new facility, including a beautiful tile mural that students created in the 1950’s.
