A volunteer is a person who donates their time for an organization without being paid.

Parents and Guardians

Parents and Guardians who want to volunteer at their child’s school can do so in a variety of ways whether it is chaperoning a field trip, working in the library, assisting a teacher with material preparation, supporting classroom events, tutoring students, and more. At this site you can complete a volunteer form and a background clearance. Volunteer assignments are made at the individual schools so once you receive notice that you are cleared you may check at the school for opportunities.

Partner Organization Volunteers

We are fortunate to have volunteers serve in our schools from many different community organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue, Rainier Athletes, Microsoft TEALS, and university and college students serving as AVID Coaches. We also have business and community organizations that serve as host sites for student interns. At this site you can complete a volunteer form and a background clearance. Any volunteer or mentor who works in these roles has a school contact to reach out to once their clearance is confirmed.
