Please join me in welcoming our first ever Boys Lacrosse Coach at Interlake: Bobby Henry.

Bobby grew up in a military family. His father was a Captain and All-American Lacrosse defense-man at USMC, West Point.  He grew up around lacrosse and watching his father play.  Bobby went to Oakton High School, in the suburbs of Washington D.C.- he played goalie all 4 years of high school.  He was the varsity goalie for 3 years earning All-Region, All-State Honors and winning the VHSL Northern Region and State Championships in 2003. In summer of 2012, Bobby moved from VA to Bellevue, WA. In 2013, he joined the Sammamish Lacrosse Club as a goalie coach and JV coach at Newport HS. In 2015 Sammamish-Interlake broke away from Newport and he became the 7/8 Head Coach for the program.  Bobby has spent the past 3 years coaching the 7/8 SI team.

Bobby says,

“I’m a huge believer in being a multi-sport athlete. I currently play Hockey, Flag Football, and have played lacrosse, coed soccer, and softball in recent years. Sports are a chance to build friendships, learn new skills, and challenge oneself physically and mentally.

I look forward to being the first coach at Interlake High School and leading this program in our inaugural season for years to come.”
