Interlake is a Washington State public high school.  The simplest way for your child to attend Interlake and join the IB program is to live in Interlake’s attendance area (PDF).   Consult the map, particularly if you are new to the Pacific Northwest and are looking at housing.  Any student whose family resides within the Interlake boundary has an automatic right to attend Interlake and then may of course enroll in our open-access  IB Diploma program.  BSD also has a find your school tool to check the school for any address entered.

In addition, students who have qualified for Advanced Learning (AL) Services may choose to join the cohorted model at Interlake, which includes the IB Diploma.  These students can live anywhere in the Bellevue School District and choose Interlake over their neighborhood school.  Testing for AL is completed through the district office; see the BSD AL Services page.

For families in the Bellevue School District but not in Interlake’s attendance area, the district offers Open Transfer. Space is limited and the deadline is usually in January preceding the year you wish your student to attend.  Inquiries can be directed to the Student Placement Office.

Nonresident families may also apply to enroll their student in BSD schools, including Interlake.  See the page Transfer Into the Bellevue School District.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
