Seniors, it’s time to submit a portrait photo for this year’s yearbook!

The deadline to submit your portrait is: December 1st

Parents should have already received emails directly from Balfour.com (please check your spam/junk folder. Contact Lori Hanson at hansonlo@bsd405.org if you did not receive an email)

Guidelines for acceptable portraits:
Seniors’ faces must be a full-faced shot (no side or partial profile).

• Hijabs are allowed and acceptable
• No hats or headbands of any kind
• No sunglasses
• No props
• No hands signs (including peace signs)
• No snapchat filters or other filters added to the image
• No friends, children, or significant others in the photo
• No watermarks

The purpose of senior tribute or “Grad Ad” advertisements in the Interlake Yearbook is to celebrate the experience of a senior or a group of seniors. Our intention is to offer this opportunity to anyone interested in publishing content about the graduates. However, we reserve the right to filter this content as needed to preserve the integrity of the yearbook.

Please adhere to the following advertisement guidelines when submitting an advertisement to be published in the yearbook. Senior advertisements cannot include:

a.         Profanities;
b.         Content that advocates or promotes anything of illegal nature;
c.         Political or social statements;
d.          Violent, inappropriate, or suggestive materials;
e.          Other content the Editors deem unfit for publication.

The Interlake Yearbook Club Editors committee reserves the right to review and deny any and all content published in the Interlake Yearbook as per the Washington New Voices Act (2018), RCWA 28A.600.027, seciton1.

Any planned exclusion or modification of a yearbook submission will be first communicated with sufficient time prior to publication of the yearbook to ensure time to either cure or appeal the Editors’ determination. The Interlake Yearbook Club Editors committee also reserves the right to update the aforementioned standards as seen fit.
