  • Mark produces rich media content on a massive scale, leaving a trail of Emmy, Peabody and Monitor Awards and the satisfaction of running two simultaneous major network TV shows. His passion is producing complex digital marketing campaigns and online events.
  • Stendal is a seasoned Executive Producer and showrunner, Co-Executive producing NBC’s daytime talk show: The Other Half, featuring Dick Clark. Primetime specials for MTV/VH-1, The Travel Channel and TLC. He’s overseen production on 2,000+ TV episodes. He’s produced morning news, branded entertainment, and hidden camera entertainment.

SAMANTHA STENDAL, PRODUCTION SUPERVISION WALT DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIOS

  • Samantha is a Production Supervisor at the Walt Disney Animation Studios, and recently finished work on Frozen II, and now is working on the upcoming feature film, Encanto – due out this fall. Samantha is 28 years old, graduated from Skyline High School in Sammamish, and attended the University of Oregon.

LAUREL BLAINE, UNION LEADER, MASTER’S IN ARTS, SET DESIGN, SET BUILDER, COSTUME DESIGNER, CARPENTER

  • Laurel Blaine is a member of IATSE Local 15 in Seattle, WA. A union member for 13 years and professional stagehand for 20 years. She graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts in 2006. She serves as a delegate to the Snohomish and Island Counties Labor Council and sits on multiple committees for Local 15, including as the Co-Chair of the Board of Examiners. The BOE oversees all intake and on-boarding of new workers into Local 15’s Hiring Hall. Laurel specifically manages the list of workers, their skills, and their certificates.
  • Laurel is currently a stage technician for the Northshore School District and “on the bounce” through Local 15’s Hiring Hall. Regular employers include The Paramount Theatre, Village Theatre, Ste Michelle Winery Summer Concert Series, Seattle Opera, and the 5th
    Avenue Theatre. Her specialties are stage and shop carpentry, props artisan, and electrician, though can function in most departments
    in some capacity or another.

Carrie Jaecksch – Physical Therapy Assistant, Seattle Children’s Hospital

  • Carrie has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Seattle Children’s Hospital for the past year, graduating from Lake
    Washington Institute of Technology in 2020. She sees both inpatient and outpatients with a focus on chronic pain,
    oncology, and developmental motor delays. This is a second career for her, having worked for many years in Human
    Resources and Compensation. She enjoys the opportunity to be active and creative in her job, work with kids of all ages,
    and contribute to improving health.

Rachel Boziwick– Physical Therapist, DPT; Vice Chair of APT Washington King County

  • Rachel is an experienced Physical Therapist, Board Certified in Neurology.
    Currently Rachel is working in the acute care setting. Primarily on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, with emphasis on treating
    patients post stroke, non-traumatic spinal cord injury, and other neurological diagnoses.

Deon Dumdumaya – University of Washington Registered Nurse

  • Deon is currently working as a Staff Nurse at UWMC in the medical-surgical unit. He cares for patient who underwent
    surgical procedure. As a nurse patient safety is our number one responsibility. We work as a team with other medical
    provider and support staff to ensure adequate care is provided both during patients stay and when patients return to
    home.

Dr. Wayne Lau, Surgeon, University of Washington – Valley Medical Center

  • In private practice in Renton Since 1996, Dr. Lau transitioned to Southlake Clinic in 2013 before joining Valley Medical
    Center in 2017. He is a board certified in General Surgery and has a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic
    surgery. Dr. Lau’s practice also encompasses hernia, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and thoracic procedures.
    In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lau has also been very active in medical staff affairs at Valley Medical Center. He
    has served in various capacities, including Director of Trauma Services, Chief of Surgery and Medical Staff Chief. Dr.
    Lau’s focus is compassionate, quality, surgical care at the patient level, as well as at the organizational level.

Dr. Raymond Hsu, Dentist Bioesthetic-Trained Master-Level Dentist

  • Dr. Hsu received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Washington and completed his dental training at the
    University of Washington School of Dentistry. He is a fellow and master of the Academy of General Dentistry and served
    as a clinical instructor at the Departments of Oral Medicine and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington.
    When Dr. Hsu is not busy transforming smiles and enhancing lives, he enjoys hiking, golfing, reading, and singing with
    the Bellevue chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Dr. Michelle Zhang, Oncologist, University of Washington – Valley Medical Center

  • Michelle Zhang, MD, obtained her medical degree from Beijing Medical University and did her post-doctorate
    training at the University of Southern California. She completed her internal medicine residency at Brown
    Medical School affiliated hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island. She gained extensive experience in the field of
    internal medicine working as an attending physician at Labey Clinical in Boston, Baylor-Methodist Primary Care
    Associates in Houston. Dr. Zhang completed her medical oncology fellowship at the University of
  • Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. During her training she was the Principal Investigator of a clinical trial
    in the treatment of hematological malignancy. Dr. Zhang is board-certified in medical oncology.
    Dr. Zhang and her husband, also a physician, live in Bellevue with their three children. She loves the outdoors, music, and
    reading.

William Fisher, President Quicksilver Software, Inc

  • William C. Fisher is president and founder of Quicksilver Software, Inc. One of the first generation of video game
    programmers, starting at Mattel Electronics in 1981, he now serves as Vice President of Platform Security at Intellivision,
    helping to bring to life the next-generation Amico video game console. Separately, in December 2019, his robotics
    startup Beyond Imagination received its seed funding around and began active development of their avatar robotics
    system. His interests range from strategy game development to simulation-based training and artificial intelligence design to usability and user interface design.
  • Quicksilver is also partnered in the creation of a photo kiosk product called Klipics, which is being used at weddings, in country clubs and at other social venues around the country, and in a brand-new social media marketing system called Tassi which automates the posting of monthly marketing materials on social media sites such as Facebook LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Other large projects include a mobile counter-IED trainer for the U.S. Army and Marine Corps., a medical ID card product, two museum exhibits for California Science Center, a military counter-terrorism game and an award-winning restaurant.

  • Terry is the Founder and CEO of PhishCloud Inc, a comprehensive phishing protection and training company. Terry is
    a former Air Force Red Team hacker with over twenty-one years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and has
    served in a broad range of technical, analytical, and leadership roles. He is passionate about his family, employees,
    and helping people in cybersecurity. Terry loves entrepreneurship and, as CTO and Co-Founder of Spearpoint Security,
    helped lead through an acquisition by Cylance in 2013. He holds a BS in Information Technology from Capella University and several cybersecurity certifications.

Miranda Richardson, Senior Customer Success Account Manager at Microsoft

  • Miranda Richardson is a Senior Customer Success Account Manager at Microsoft and the BAM Worldwide External
    Connections Committee (ECC) Lead for FY21. This role focuses on creating a systematic method to sourcing,
    building, and nurturing external partnerships in a scalable way that brings value to BAM and Microsoft. This
    committee focuses on collaboration, community partnerships, diversity, and inclusion, as well as the annual BAM
    Scholarship.
  • A graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago, her background in technology spans over 20 years in various consulting and leadership roles. Assisting global corporations focusing on large-scale complex technology implementations. Miranda transitioned to San Jose, CA in 2018, to catapult her own career with Microsoft taking on a new level of role in global customer success. She is an Advisory Board member to the Blacks in Technology Foundation, having over 10,000 members globally.

Alice Steinglass, Past President of Code.org

  • Alice is a technology executive who has worked on a number of technologies you use such as Xbox or Windows. For
    the last 5 years, she was the President of Code.org. There, she led teams building curriculum, tools and software to
    support introductory computer science classes for students from kindergarten through high school with a focus on
    reaching groups that traditionally have been underrepresented in technology. She’s currently taking a break from
    working and enjoying some time off with her kids. Her son is a 10th grader at Big Picture School.

Pamela Fehrman, Planning and Development Manager; Parks and Community Services/City of Bellevue

Pam Fehrman is the Planning and Development Manager for Bellevue Parks & Community Services. She works with City staff and the community to plan, design and construct Bellevue’s parks. Pam graduated from Interlake High School (a long time ago), worked for a manufacturing company, and then returned to the University of Washington to pursue a career change. After securing a degree in Landscape Architecture and Architecture and Urban Planning Studies she began working for the City of Bellevue in 1998. Her interests center on urban and cultural design issues focusing on design dynamics and public space use. She loves to travel and feels privileged to work for, and contribute to the community where she grew up, and lives today.

My name is Dominique Rosario. I grew up in Austin, Texas running around in creek beds, playing in the dirt, and reading anything I could get my hands on. Throughout school I had no idea what I wanted to do in the future but knew I wanted to do something I was passionate about. In college I found Environmental Studies and realized I loved teaching others about the environment and how to help make a positive impact on the area around us. This led me to
environmental education and working in the mountains of Colorado where I taught people about the Rocky Mountains while hiking and snowshoeing. Now, I serve as an AmeriCorps member at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, near Olympia, educating students about the importance of protecting habitat for migrating birds and salmon populations. Working in environmental education has allowed me to do something I am excited about every day and have fun while doing it.

Alisa Henselman, Procurement Agent | Supply Chain Operations, Boeing

  • Alisa is an Operations Procurement Agent at The Boeing Company. In this role, Alisa manages the performance, quality, and daily operations across multiple global suppliers and commercial airplane programs. Alisa is an alumnus of the University of Washington, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Minor in Japanese. During her studies, she was involved in multiple extracurricular groups including the Japanese Students Association, Alpha Kappa Psi, student/alumni mentorship programs, and worked at the Undergraduate Student Advisory Office.
