New eBook collection about

Anti-racism and Social Justice

New library collection

funded by

Bellevue Schools Foundation Grant

IS library has just acquired a new collection of  multicultural and diverse books through a grant from BSF.  This collection contains of 37  books about different cultures, books that tell story of minorities, people of color, people with diverse abilities and people with different sexual orientations(LGBTQ).
Through these books our students with minority backgrounds will find the comfort of reading about their familiar culture and values ; thus it will engage them more in reading. This collection also fosters understanding, creates more acceptance and tolerance among our students since it helps our students to obtain more knowledge about different cultures as well as to learn more about people who differ from them.

Thank you Bellevue Schools Foundation for your generosity and please click on the covers to preview this resourceful collection!
