FIRST Robotics Competition at Sammamish High School

Date and Times:             

  •  Saturday, March 19: 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday, March 20: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday, March 20: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Awards Ceremony

Members of the community are invited to attend the competition events this weekend. 


Sammamish High School will host a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for teams across the Pacific Northwest from March 18-20. This is the first time a BSD school has hosted this event and robotics teams from five BSD High Schools will be represented by their FRC teams.

Best of luck to all of the students, mentors and staff taking part in this competition representing BSD. Participants include: 

  • Titan Robotics (International School) 
  • NRG (Newport Robotics Group) 
  • Wolverine Robotics (Bellevue Robotics) 
  • Saints Robotics (Interlake Robotics) 
  • Robototes (Sammamish Robotics)

Community Mental Health Forum Series – Is It Time to Talk to Your Kids About Drugs? (Español)

The Community Mental Health Forum series continues this March. In partnership with area health care partners, the BSD counseling team will offer a session titled, Is It Time to Talk to Your Kids About Drugs? This virtual session invites students and parents to watch together and discuss topics related to substance use. Pre-registration is not required.

The sessions will each provide an opportunity to ask detailed questions about substance use with counselors who are knowledgeable in this subject area. Questions may be submitted in advance by using this form.
