We are excited to announce some BIG CHANGES we’ve made to this year’s auction in light of Gov. Inslee’s latest decision affecting our school:
Our Auction is Going Virtual!
WHAT? Online Auction + Live-streamed Virtual Gala with fun and informational content for viewing
WHEN? Sat, May 16th at 6pm | Online bidding begins Mon, May 11th at 8am
WHO CAN “ATTEND?” Everyone who supports our children’s education! Invite relatives and family friends. A virtual event means anyone can “attend” no matter their location.
COST TO “ATTEND?” FREE with an option to donate
WHY? Our auction remains a very important fundraiser to help fund amazing instruction aides, programs that help enhance our children’s education, as well as professional development for teachers to give them resources to adapt curriculum to best meet the needs of their students. Now, more than ever, our amazing teachers, instructional aides, and support staff need the tools to help our children continue learning in this unique environment. Let’s still BELIEVE in our strong Medina Elementary community and make a virtual LEAP to ACHIEVE our fundraising goal for the year!
DRESS CODE? None! If you choose to dress up, please send us some pictures!
If you purchased an auction ticket, you have the option to transfer your current ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation to Medina Elementary PTA. We sincerely hope that most of you choose to do so, and participate by bidding on our wonderful items and raise a virtual paddle to support our beloved Medina Elementary. You will maintain your original bidder number.
We thank you in advance for your continued support. Please reach out to us at email@example.com, should you decide to request a refund by May 1st, 2020. If we don’t hear from you, we will assume your decision is to convert your tickets to a donation to Medina Elementary PTA. You can still participate in the online auction if your decision is to request a ticket refund.
If you did NOT purchase an auction ticket, you still have the opportunity to participate in our online auction. We will re-open registration on April 20th, 2020 at 8am.
