STEM Week

STEM Week (April 23-27) is coming to Medina! Students will have opportunities to participate in exciting STEM related activities during the school day. STEM Family Night will be on Wednesday, April 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Medina Elementary. Bring the whole family to see students’ science projects along with advances in 3D printing, robotics, VR and AR! Come and participate in the always popular, annual Egg Drop Competition. It will be an amazing night of hands-on learning and fun with STEM related shows and activities for all ages. If your child would like to work on a science project at home to share at school and win a prize during STEM Family Night, please see the science project guidelines and instructions.

Screenagers, Growing Up in the Digital Ag

This is the second in a series of three events, from the Community Outreach Committee and PTA. This is a parent/adult ONLY event. We will not be offering childcare for this event so please plan accordingly. We have invited the Clyde Hill Elementary school to join in so parking could be tight. You may want to walk or carpool.

Math Club Challenge Tournament Fall 2017

Where: Medina Elementary School
When: November, 28th 2017 (Tuesday)
Time: 2:45 – 4 pm

Math Challenge Tournament is a National Math Tournament for grades 2 to 5 students. This tournament enables students to showcase both their math fundamental and problem-solving skills.  It is open for all students from 2nd grade through 5th grade. Registration is open until November 10 2017. Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night Featuring The LEGO Batman Movie. Please join us on Friday, 10/27 at 6:30 pm for Family Movie Night at Medina Elementary in the Multi-Purpose Room. The feature presentation will be THE LEGO BATMAN Movie. Free admission! Free popcorn! Feel free to bring your picnic blankets, fluffies and pillows! Kids are welcomed to wear their Halloween costumes if they choose to! But please make sure they do NOT wear masks or bring toy weapons.Parents are required to stay for the event. No drop-offs please. This is a PTA-sponsored event. Walk to School Day

The Mayor will be proclaiming October 4th as Walk to School Day in Bellevue. We look forward to participating in this city wide event. Next week you will start seeing signs to get ready for the big day!
