More Details on Our Back to Buildings Plan

After extensive negotiation, the Bellevue School District and our educators’ union, the Bellevue Education Association, reached an agreement that was ratified by the union on Monday night. This agreement provides the framework to bring back our students, beginning with K-2. Throughout this process we have worked hard to balance returning our youngest learners to classrooms with the safety of our students, educators, and staff.Read More

School Cancelled for Monday, January 25

The BSD and BEA bargaining team members met all weekend long working through important issues. We have made significant progress and have reached agreement on all of our key items we addressed at the table. With over a dozen pages of language, we will finish our work tomorrow to have a final product.

As a result we reached a joint decision that, school for Monday, January 25 is cancelled. This includes all grade levels, preschool through 12. We understand the challenge this may provide for our students and families. We are committed to making up lost instructional time. This instructional day will be made up on March 19, 2021.Read More
