Curriculum Night

Newport Heights Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night on Oct. 4th – this a parent/guardian event:

Newport Heights Curriculum Night will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  This is an opportunity for classroom teachers to share curriculum information with you.  By offering separate sessions for our primary and intermediate classrooms, we hope to be responsive to the needs of our families who have more than one child at Newport Heights.

Intermediate (3-5):5:30-6:00

Primary (PreK-2):  6:15-6:45

The purpose of curriculum night is to provide parents and guardians with classroom information and time to meet your child’s classroom teacher and see their learning space. All classrooms will provide content information to all families.

Conversations about your individual child and how they are doing socially, emotionally, or academically will be shared with you during your scheduled conference time in November when you are one on one with your child’s teacher.  Teachers will not be addressing or have the time to discuss individual students during curriculum night.
