Prom Tickets and Guest Passes: Attention, Class of 2019! Prom ticket sales will be taking place the week of SBA testing, which is from May 20 to 24, in addition to the Tuesday of the next week (May 28). We will be selling tickets during lunches and after school. However, because there will be SBA testing, there is one lunch for all students. Class of 2019 – Graduation Tickets: All seniors receive four (4) complimentary tickets. Ages 2 and above require a ticket for entry. Seniors can be purchased online until June 14, 2019 at Touchbase for $5 each – no limit. Additional tickets may be purchased on June 17, 2019, at Newport, after graduation rehearsal.

The Bellevue School District High School Summer program is designed for students to improve proficiency, increase their grade and earn credit. Space in the High School Summer Program is limited. Students will be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. Once classes are full, students may be placed on a wait list. Click here for the enrollment process. Knight Valor is a Newport High School PTSA program designed to recognize students who have completed 140 or more community service hours during high school. Click here for Application Details. Application deadline is May 22, 2019.
In 1987, Newport High School parent Carla Vendeland created the PTSA Knight Valor program recognizing Newport High School students who made a difference in their community through their extraordinary volunteer efforts. Mrs. Vendeland passed away in 1994. In her memory and in honor of her dedication to our community, the Carla B. Vendeland Scholarship was established in 1996. This year, one male and one female student will be awarded $1,000 each. To qualify for the scholarship, students must be: 1) a graduating senior; and 2) earned the PTSA Knight Valor Award (a minimum of 140 hours of community service).
