Somerset Elementary School, Class of 2019— If you attended you are invited to the annual photo op reunion with classmates and elementary school teachers. Please share this with other classmates who might be graduating from schools outside BSD.

  • Where: Somerset Elementary (14100 Somerset Blvd SE) *meet in front of school
  • Who: Graduating Seniors of 2019 who attended Somerset Elementary School
  • What: A chance to see former classmates and teachers. Bring your cap and gown for a group picture!


SBA Testing starts this week May 20th through May 24th: This is a modified schedule. NHS SBA Testing Schedule Spr 2019 Grades 9th and 12th will have a delayed start.

Too Busy to Cook? – Get your meals at Jimmy John’s Factoria on Wednesday, May 22nd. Say you’re from NHS when ordering and Jimmy John’s will donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit GradKnight 2019.


Prom Tickets and Guest Passes: Attention, Class of 2019! Prom ticket sales will be taking place the week of SBA testing, which is from May 20 to 24, in addition to the Tuesday of the next week (May 28). We will be selling tickets during lunches and after school. However, because there will be SBA testing, there is one lunch for all students. Do you have a book checked out of our library? Please note these important dates for returning checked out books and materials to our library to avoid fines applied to your ASB account:

  • Seniors must return library books no later than Friday, May 31st.
  • Seniors fines for missing books will post on Monday, June 3rd.
  • All other students must return library books no later than June 10th.
  • Undergrad fines will post on Monday, June 17th.
  • Posted fines can be paid for at the accountant’s office.


Class of 2019 – Graduation Tickets: All seniors receive four (4) complimentary tickets. Ages 2 and above require a ticket for entry. Seniors can be purchased online until June 14, 2019 at Touchbase for $5 each – no limit. Additional tickets may be purchased on June 17, 2019, at Newport, after graduation rehearsal.


KASC/Iris Fye Library, in collaboration with Chemistry faculty and your RTS, will sponsor the first annual Climate, and Tech Innovation Fair on June 5th. Please consider presenting on a climate change impact; or in making a Green Tech Innovation Pitch to our Sharks! Please see Dr. Busch or email at buschj@bsd405.org for more information.


The Seattle Times is looking for students to share their stories and writing as part of their Students Voices features. Are you a student who thinks education should be different? Apply to be a part of the Seattle Times Student Voices program. Applications due by May 24, 2019. To apply, click here.


The Bellevue School District High School Summer program is designed for students to improve proficiency, increase their grade and earn credit. Space in the High School Summer Program is limited. Students will be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. Once classes are full, students may be placed on a wait list. Click here for the enrollment process. Enrollment deadline is 4pm Friday, June 21, 2019.
