Newport HS Textbook and Materials Distribution – Monday, September 14th – Thursday, September 17th: Newport High School’s distribution of textbooks and materials will take place Monday 9/14/2020 – Thursday 9/17 via a defined student schedule (see below) Please arrive during your designated time ONLY.
- Newport High School students will pick up their books and materials without a parent present. (Parents must stay in cars)
- Students must bring a pen or pencil
- Masks are required
- Please maintain physical distancing
- Picking up books and materials will take about 10-15 minutes for students to complete
- Parking and Drop Off
- Please park and drop off students in the West Lot
- Please remain in your parking space. Students will exit the building and walk back to your vehicle.
- If you cannot make your scheduled time please plan to come the afternoon of 9/17, 12:30pm-4:30pm.
Students who still have PE and Hallway Locker belongings to pick up may do so during their designated time, as well as yearbooks.
If anyone in your family has COVID-19 symptoms, or has had contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or is still in their isolation period for testing positive for COVID-19 do NOT pick up books and materials during this week. Contact your school to make alternate arrangement.

Need Technology Help or Pick Up a Device? – Students and families can get technology support by phone, email or in-person, which includes picking up equipment. All students have access to the district’s Student How-To Guides online. Sometimes, restarting a device can solve basic issues.

Enter the Visitor parking lot off 124th Ave on the west side of the school. If entering from Factoria Blvd, continue along Knight Ct (SE 44th St) around the north side of the school building, to the Visitor parking lot. The door to the Tech Center (which is in the gym) is immediately to the right as you head towards the main entrance.
