Join us for fun at the lake

Join us for our annual welcome picnic at Lake Sammamish State Park on Sunday, August 28 starting at 1 pm. Meet other Newport families, teachers and staff; make new friends; and feel more connected to the Newport High community!

Feel free to bring your favorite dish to share and/or beverages (no alcohol) though usually there’s plenty of food. The NHS PTSA will provide plates, napkins, utensils, etc. Also bring your own picnic blankets and/or chairs and – if you want – yard games. Please RSVP by Friday, August 26.

Brought to you by the Newport High School PTSA. All families, teachers and staff of Newport High School for the 2022-23 school year are welcome. If you’d like to become a PTSA member, visit newportptsa.org (you do not have to be a member to join us at the picnic).

State parks require a Discover Pass to park (a one-day pass is $10). If you need financial assistance, NHS PTSA is providing a limited number of parking passes to families in need. To request a pass, contact irene.budlong@newportptsa.org by Wednesday, August 24th. State law prohibits any alcohol in state parks (WAC 352-32-210)
