Setting up parent alerts in Synergy can help you with a “trust and verify” routine to be sure that your student stays on track. We need our students to grow into independence, but not without guidance and oversight.

Regular summaries:

  • Immediate alerts for absence & tardy
  • Alert if grade drops below the letter grade you select. For example: if grades drops to a C, you get an email
  • Missing assignments

OR

  • Log in to Synergy.
  • Click ‘MyAccount’ tab.
  • Decide which notifications to receive and how often in the Auto-Notify section.  These are email notifications.  You can sign up for attendance alerts and weekly grade-book summaries.
  • Click ‘Update Account and you’re done.
