Minutes Matter: First minutes of class hold secrets of success

Our goal is to have all students on campus, and seated in class at the 8:00AM bell.

To be on time, we suggest the following:

  • 7:45  Student on campus
  • 7:50  Student navigates to class through the hallways
  • 7:55 Student in classroom/get water, etc.
  • 8:00  bell rings for instruction to start.

When students come late, they miss out on the outline for the lesson and instructions, critical project due dates, and announcements.

Please also encourage students to attend tutorials and get help from their teachers![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
