Virtual BOOM Student Engagement Event

Nov 18 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Ever wonder what you can do to elevate your voice and raise awareness of yourself and others just like you?  If so, let’s come together as one in our first BOOM event of the 2020-21 school year!  We want you to be Proud to be HEARD!

BOOM is a program designed for male students that racially identify as African, Black, Hispanic, LatinX, Native American, Southeast Asian, Pacific Islander, or mix of any, who are in grades 7-12.

Join keynote speaker, Doug Baldwin, and Mr. Shomari Jones, Bellevue School District’s, Director of Equity and Strategic Engagement, Wednesday, November 18 from 2-3 p.m. for a Microsoft Teams Live Event where we will engage in dynamic conversation on topics of race, culture, leadership and self-empowerment.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the Coast Salish Peoples of our region, past, present and future.
